About Isles Construction Group

With over 20 years of experience in the construction industry, Carlos Hart brings a wealth of knowledge to Isles Construction Group. As a graduate of Southern Polytechnic State University, Carlos earned a degree in construction. While enrolled at SPSU, Carlos simultaneously worked for Ruby-Collins Construction, allowing him to gain hands-on experience while he completed his education. In 2002, his construction experience flourished even further when he joined Holder Construction, also an Atlanta-based company. As a result, Carlos was able to learn from some of the best in the industry. Often described as one who lives and breathes construction, Carlos has thoroughly enjoyed the unique facets and challenges of each project with which he has been entrusted. Over the years, he has had the pleasure of working on many large scale commercial structures, waste water treatment facilities, parking decks, data centers and other projects, gaining a vast array of experience both inside the office and in the field.

After moving to Columbia in 2008, Carlos started Isles Construction Group during the recession, when construction projects were sparse. Initially, ICG provided residential renovations and additions, but quickly expanded to include commercial/retail-build-outs and renovations as well. ICG has continued to grow and expand it’s services to include new home construction.
